CIIE Innovation and Incubation Special Section upgraded to accelerate the development of overseas SME’s in China

The CIIE is not only a display platform for large corporates. Since its inception in 2021, the innovation and incubation special zone has become an international innovation platform for project showcase, investment matching, and market expansion

It is reported that these organizations not only brought numerous quality overseas innovation projects, but will also hold a series of supporting activities including the 2024 international technology and innovation conference. These activities not only build a stage for overseas SMEs to showcase their innovative solutions, but also provide venture capital firms with a treasure-trove for discovering potential investment opportunities.

In Hong Kong based Zyetric Technologies’s booth, a classic movie clip was being played. After speaking in Cantonese, the main character can be seen speaking in other languages like Putonghua, English, Arabic etc.

“We are the world’s first real-time multi-language facial translation SaaS. Through this platform, all movie characters can speak in 32 languages fluently. Not only is the voice cloned, but on top of synchronizing lip movements, our AI also comes with an industry leading super-resolution technology which enables movie grade video outputs.” Zyetric’s chief operating officer Leslie Chu explains.

High quality facial-translation results can only be realized with continuous investment with R&D. Leslie told reporters that the company has computer vision and generative AI research centers for research and development, and currently owns 18 related China/US patents. “I’ve gained a lot from the CIIE, many people were interested in our product, for example, one media company expressed the need for their reporters to use real-time facial translation, and some KOLs hoped to use the product for cross-border live commerce. At the same time, AI research and development requires continuous investment. We have previously received investment from the Auckland University of Technology, and in these few days we have connected with numerous investors interested in our project. We hope to embark on further negotiations after the expo, Leslie said.
