FAQ
Q: Is Zhowcase a paid service? A: Yes, it is a paid service, charged based on time. Each translation or modification of a translation consumes credits. During the promotion period, each new user will receive 10 free credits, valued at RMB¥90.
Q: How to obtain credit points? A: Credit points can be obtained by purchasing different paid packages.
Q: What are the paid packages? A: Currently, there are three packages available: RMB¥200, RMB¥90, and RMB¥50. For more details, please see the credit shop.
Q: How are credits consumed calculated? A: Translation is charged based on duration. The first minute of translating an original video costs 5 credit points. Each additional minute costs 1 credit point per minute. For revisions to already translated videos, 1 credit point will be charged per minute of translation modified.
Q: How is the credit point calculated for videos less than a minute?
A: Videos less than a minute are charged as one minute.
Q: Do credit points have an expiration date?
A: Credit points are valid for one year from the date of purchase. After the expiration date, any unused points will be forfeited.
Q: Is there a way to extend the validity of unused credit points?
A: If you have unused credit points that are about to expire, you can recharge again, and the validity of all credit points will be reset to one year from the date of the latest recharge.
Q: Any tips or suggestions for recording the best quality videos?
A: - Good lighting - Choose a simple, clean background - Keep the camera stable to avoid shaking - Select the appropriate camera (if multiple cameras are available) - Use a suitable microphone (if multiple microphones are available) - Adjust the camera angle to the best position - Speak clearly and naturally - Try to relax and be natural - Use the pause function to record in segments - Preview before uploading
Q: Why is the last part of my script missing from the output video?
A: Some translated languages expand in length compared to the original, causing the audio to extend beyond the video's duration. When this happens, the excess audio is removed to maintain the video's integrity.
Solution: Use our “Edit latest version” tool to adjust the translated script to an appropriate length. Once revised, press “Submit for AI processing” to generate a new output.
Q: What should be noted when modifying translations if not satisfied?
A: On the modification page, the system will provide a target translation text based on your original text. If you are not satisfied with the current translation, you can edit it again. However, note that the length of the modified text should not differ too much from the original, as this may affect the quality of the modification.
Q. Why are numbers, especially when placed in sequence, often not translated correctly?
A. Numbers can be represented in various formats, which can sometimes lead to misunderstandings by AI. To improve accuracy, you can edit numbers into a more readable text form (e.g., "2025" can be written as "twenty twenty-five").
